PLUM GARDEN COTTAGE

Plum Garden Cottage is one of two separate properties that join to form one of the village buildings. It is located about 100 metres from the village square, which is by the church, and set a few metres along one of the cobbled paths, which are a feature of the village, from the little used "road" to the next hill village.

Plum Garden Cottage was restored from a ruin in 1984 and this restoration has deliberately retained many of the features and much of the character of a village house. 

It has been used as a family home and for letting since 1984. 

The fittings, furnishings and decor are a reflection of the Cypriot background of the property and are simple and practical, rather than luxurious.

The Cottage is entered through glass doors which are protected by blue painted shutters made from the original doors.

These lead into the kitchen area, which has retained the original fireplace. The original cupboards have been replaced and a new flagstone floor has been laid.

There is a full size cooker run from bottled gas, with an electric hob and oven, that provides full cooking facilities, and a wide range of cooking utensils, crockery, glassware etc along with a dishwasher and washing machine. A large fridge-freezer offers cool storage for food and drink.
